Pick materialLoad floor stacked and palletized materialOperate mobile equipment (pallet rider and forklift)Palletize product for loadsUnload and put away incoming productsRead and understand ordersCube trailers for the material to fit properlyAble to load multiple stop trailersKeep track of cartons loaded per truck/hourObserve al established safety guidelinesResponsible for 5-S housekeepingMust be able to perform quality and accurate LoadingResponsible for following good inventory practices
Must have experience/or demonstrate willingness to learn how to operate hand-held scanner, and PC to enter shipping dataMust take proper care of equipment and company propertyAble and willing to work overtimeAble to work in a hot, fast-paced environment on feet 8 or more hours a dayAble to use small hand toolsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredExperience with manufacturing/ plastics extrusion industry desirableProduct (vinyl siding) knowledge desirable2 years of Forklift experience preferred

POSITION SUMMARY
The Shipper role is critical to the logistics and distribution process for our manufacturing facility. Shippers are responsible for preparing, organizing, and overseeing the shipment of finished products to customers or other destinations.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat.
