Job Description
Job Overview Kids Club Miami is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Part-Time Family Assistant / Household Manager for a private family in Palmetto Bay, FL with two boys, ages 5 and 7. This is a long-term position combining childcare, family assistance, household organization, errands, driving, and day-to-day family logistics . The ideal candidate is dependable, discreet, resourceful, communicative, and able to anticipate household needs without constant direction. Schedule & Compensation Approximately 25-30 hours per week Approximately 4-6 hours per day , primarily Monday-Friday Additional evenings, weekends, longer days, or occasional overnights may be requested as needed $30-$40/hour , depending on experience Long-term position Responsibilities School pick-ups and transportation to activities Support with homework, after-school routines, meals, and snacks Children's laundry, bedrooms, belongings, and general organization Coordinate family calendars, appointments, school forms, and activities Grocery shopping, errands, returns, and household purchases Maintain household supplies and inventory Light household organization and daily reset/tidying Simple meal preparation and family meal planning Coordinate vendors, contractors, appointments, and home maintenance Assist with travel preparation, packing, and family logistics Help manage vehicle-related appointments, maintenance, registration, and other household administrative needs Anticipate family needs and help keep the household running smoothly Occasional evening, weekend, overnight, and travel support as needed Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience Previous professional Family Assistant and/or Household Manager experience strongly preferred Fluent professional English; Spanish is a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable, insured personal vehicle Comfortable safely transporting children Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable with technology, calendars, scheduling, and household administration CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification Able to pass a background check Valid U.S. work authorization Valid passport and willingness to travel Strong professional references Non-smoker We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children while also taking ownership of the organizational and logistical needs of a busy household.
