Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist working with students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role allows you to provide essential speech and language therapy services, making a meaningful difference in students' educational experiences. In this position, you'll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students with diverse communication needs. Through both individual and group sessions, you will help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential in the classroom. Your expertise will be vital in creating and implementing personalized therapy plans for a range of ages.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist for schools Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for students Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions at school sites Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and progress notes Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding progress and strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student evaluations
