Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth as a dedicated paraprofessional. In this position, you'll work closely with educators, offering valuable assistance in classrooms and providing individualized support to students. Your skills will directly help create an encouraging and inclusive learning environment where every child has the chance to succeed.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar student support capacity within educational settings Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with teachers, staff, and families Ability to assist students with a variety of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Flexibility and patience in responding to a dynamic classroom environment High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or relevant certifications are a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers with classroom management and instructional activities Provide one-on-one or small group support to students requiring extra help Encourage student participation and engagement in lessons and classroom routines Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for students Monitor student progress and report any concerns to teaching staff Support students during transitions, mealtimes, and other school activities as needed In this contract role, you'll gain meaningful experience, develop your skills in supporting diverse learners, and make a genuine difference in students' educational journeys.
