The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product application scenarios and be able to develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality and compatibility of our products. They will also be responsible for tracking and conveying product defects to the appropriate stakeholders. The focus will be on products such as Fiber Modems, Residential Gateways, and Wi-Fi Routers/Mesh devices.
Responsibilities:
Base on residential daily usage, using our Residential Networking products to setup a test house. develop typical live application test cases for different purpose: function test, reliability test, compatible/Interworking test, etc. Visit customer's lab or provide on-site support, collect all necessary facts & logs, summarize the problem and convey the issue to internal supporting team. Try to reproduce the customer's issue; Keep updating status in bug track system. Timely synchronize status with internal supporting team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in testing CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) devices. Strong understanding of home networking application scenarios. Experience with the following networking technologies is a plus: GPON/EPON, XGS-PON, MoCA, DSL, VOIP, TR-069. Experience in configuring ONUs (Optical Network Units) and OLTs (Optical Line Terminals) is a plus. Experience with the following tools is preferred (Wireshark, Jira, Ixia, IxChariot, Spirent Test Center, iPerf3, Speedtest) Familiar with typical network protocols: IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP, HTTP, SSH/Telnet, NAT, RSTP, RIP, Wi-Fi security. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills (conveying and reporting). Experience working with cross-functional teams, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
