Hourly Job Summary:
The Crew Member supports daily junk-removal operations by safely lifting, loading, sorting, and transporting customer items from residential and commercial properties. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, strong customer-service skills, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. Crew Members represent the company on every job and must uphold professionalism, respect, and care for customer property at all times.
Job Duties:
Greet customers professionally and assist the Crew Lead during the on-site walkthrough. Follow all communication standards, including empathy, clarity, and respect for customer property. Ask clarifying questions when needed and maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude. Safely remove junk, furniture, appliances, yard waste, construction debris, and other materials. Use proper lifting techniques and team-lift procedures to prevent injuries. Protect customer property using floor runners, blankets, corner guards, and careful handling. Maintain 360° awareness to avoid damage, spills, or hazards. Load trucks evenly, secure items with straps, and follow all company loading procedures. Sort items into recyclables, donations, general waste, and hazardous materials. Never load prohibited or hazardous items; notify the customer and Management immediately. Assist with landfill, recycling center, and donation drop-offs following all site rules. Obtain and submit disposal receipts for every load. Assist with daily truck inspections, cleaning, and equipment checks. Load and unload tools such as dollies, straps, shovels, brooms, and buckets. Report maintenance needs or damage promptly. Wear required PPE at all times, including gloves, boots, and safety gear. Follow all safety protocols, including hazard identification and proper tool use. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Comply with California labor, safety, and environmental regulations. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and company policies consistently. Support Crew Leads, Drivers, and Management with job documentation, photos, and system updates. Participate in training, safety meetings, and performance reviews. Uphold the company's professional standards and brand reputation.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Required Experience with general labor, moving, warehouse, or construction experience preferred but not required. Valid driver's license preferred (required for advancement to Crew Lead). Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Professional communication skills and customer-service mindset. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and work in tight spaces. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.

The Driver is responsible for operating company vehicles and trailers and performing hands-on junk removal services at residential and commercial sites. This role requires safe driving, physical strength, customer-focused communication, and strict adherence to California safety and transportation regulations. Drivers lead or support crews in loading, sorting, and disposing of materials while maintaining professionalism and care for customer property.
Job Duties:
Safely operate company trucks and trailers to and from job sites, landfills, recycling centers, and donation facilities. Perform daily vehicle inspections, including brakes, lights, tires, trailer connections, and load security. Navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning tools. Comply with all California DMV, DOT, and company driving policies. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle interior and exterior. Remove furniture, appliances, yard debris, construction waste, and other materials from homes and businesses. Use proper lifting techniques and team-lift procedures to prevent injury. Load trucks and trailers evenly, secure items with straps, and follow company loading protocols. Protect customer property using blankets, floor runners, and corner guards. Sort items into recyclables, donations, general waste, and hazardous materials. Ensure prohibited items are not loaded; escalate concerns to management. Submit disposal receipts and maintain accurate load documentation. Greet customers professionally and conduct pre-job walkthroughs. Communicate clearly and respectfully throughout the job. Address customer questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Represent the company brand and values on every job. Wear required PPE at all times (gloves, boots, safety gear). Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Required Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (required). Experience towing trailers or operating large vehicles is preferred.
