About the
Role:
We're looking for a Transportation Support Specialist to safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, treatments, and other destinations. You'll also help with patient care activities, making sure they're safe, supported, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport Patients & Staff:
Safely drive patients to medical appointments, treatments, and other locations.
Vehicle Safety:
Do daily checks on vehicles to ensure they're safe and ready to use.
Manage Patient Belongings:
Handle patient belongings during admissions, visitation, and discharge.
Monitor Patient Safety:
Help keep track of patient activities and document behavior.
Handle Incidents:
Manage safety concerns and report any transportation issues to supervisors.
Teamwork:
Work with other departments about patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Additional Tasks:
Take on other duties when transportation needs are low.
Requirements:
Must Have:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Experience in transportation or healthcare CPR certification Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks Comfortable using technology (training provided if needed)

Able to meet the needs of patients and team members.

Works well with others, even without direct authority.
Time Management:
Can handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Communication:
Clear in both speaking and writing.
