PRIMARY PURPOSE

Provide reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation the campus.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONCERTIFICATION

High school graduate or GED

SPECIAL

KNOWLEDGESKILLS

Ability to treat district employees or patrons in a patient and tactful manner

Ability to operate multi-line phone system

Proficient keyboarding skills

Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Ability to speak Spanish desired but not required

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience with multi-line phone system preferred.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reception and Phones:

. Greet and direct visitors to central administration office.

. Assist public, staff, and students as needed.

. Receive and direct all incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.

. Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes.

. Sort, distribute and deliver mail, messages, and fax documents.

. Assist with preparation materials for mailing, including preparing labels, stuffing

envelopes, etc.

. Provide clerical assistance as needed.

. Perform other duties as assigned.

. Maintain confidentiality.
