Job Description
Agriculture Irrigation Technician Greenleaf Ag is a growing, family owned agricultural water treatment company in the Central Valley of California. Our office is located in Coalinga CA. The person hired for the position will potentially visit our Clients locations throughout California, Oregon and Arizona.

Operations Manager Position Summary The Agricultural Technician supports field operations involving irrigation systems, water treatment, and chlorination equipment. This role is responsible for assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of agricultural utility systems while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities Assist with crane operations, including rigging and use of standard hand signals Perform physical labor, including lifting, loading, and unloading equipment and materials Install, maintain, and repair chlorination systems, including chlorine gas and Accu-Tab systems Disassemble, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the field Conduct pre-trip inspections of cranes and trucks; report maintenance needs Navigate to job sites using GPS and maps; organize and execute daily work schedules Identify abnormal operating conditions and report to supervisor Correct minor issues under supervision and escalate more complex problems as needed Complete and maintain accurate work orders, service records, and field documentation Enter data and maintain records using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) Communicate effectively with team members, irrigators, foremen, and supervisors Participate in problem-solving efforts and recommend improvements to systems or processes Support system design, installation improvements, and quality control efforts Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members as skills progress Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability Familiarity with or ability to learn chlorination systems and agricultural utilities Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to perform basic math calculations Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites Ability to work a flexible or fluctuating schedule as needed Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Work Environment Primarily outdoor, field-based work in agricultural and rural settings Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain Regular use of tools, machinery, and heavy equipment Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manual labor Work near mechanical equipment and chemical systems (including chlorine), requiring adherence to safety protocols Preferred Traits Dependable with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate Mechanically inclined with a hands-on approach to problem-solving Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow into advanced responsibilities Ability to remain adaptable in a dynamic work environment Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications On-the-job training and skill development Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Company-provided tools and equipment as requiredJob Type:
