Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on site specific project, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help bring construction visions to life, from framing to finishing touches, contributing to the successful completion of Timberframe Carriage House. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced carpenters eager to showcase their skills.. Responsibilities Construct and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Perform framing work including heavy timber construction with precision. Install siding, windows, doors, wood tongue and groove walls, trim, cabinetry, and other finishing components to meet project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations on construction sites. Requirements Proven experience in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and general construction site work. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy lifting equipment. Strong knowledge of roofing systems, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, caulking, siding installation, and fixture hanging. Ability to perform tasks such as cabinetry installation, door hanging, electrical experience, plumbing integration, and electrical wiring. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Valid construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship.
