Skilled Construction Laborer

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Skilled Construction Laborer and play a vital role in bringing complex building projects to life! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge to support project success. As a key team member, you will assist with a wide range of tasks, from framing and concrete finishing to installation and restoration work, ensuring that every phase of construction is executed with precision and quality. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including site preparation and cleanup Operate power tools and hand tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, roofing, drywall installation, and concrete finishing Must provide your own hand tools. Your vehicle must be able to carry up to an 8ft ladder. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans Perform carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, door hanging, window installation, and framing Conduct inspections of work areas for quality control and adherence to safety standards Support specialized tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, stucco application, and glass or cabinet installation Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site excavation or material handling Assist in the fabrication and installation of structural components like formwork or hardscape features Apply finishing techniques including painting, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and plastering Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely progress and safety compliance Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments with familiarity in various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or restoration Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction management principles including estimating and inspection processes Skills in specialized areas such as welding, concrete forming, glass installation or tile laying are a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Relevant certifications or training in construction safety or specific trades are advantageous Join us in building exceptional structures while advancing your skills in a fast-paced environment!
