Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and concrete mixers on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks as needed. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to minimize risks on the job site. Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment as required for various tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Experience Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and concrete mixers. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is preferred. Previous construction site experience is essential to understand the demands of the role. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Experience operating farm machinery or tanker trucks is a plus but not required.
