9584894-55369 Job Description Take the next step in your special education journey as an onsite teacher working with students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD). This contract assignment provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a supportive elementary school setting, near Osseo, MN, for the 2026-2027 academic year. Youll have a manageable caseload of around nine students and collaborate with a team dedicated to each childs growth.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification required (Tier 3 or 4); upload your certification and resume for consideration Experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with DCD populations Strong classroom management and individualized education planning skills Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment

Role Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary DCD teacher for a caseload of approximately nine elementary students Collaborate with support staff and administration to develop and implement IEPs Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet individual strengths and needs Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Engage families in the learning process and promote communication Maintain a safe learning environment for diverse learners Work onsite Monday through Friday, from approximately 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) Complete the assignment August 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027 This is a chance to create positive impacts within a vibrant school community while enriching your professional skills.
