This opportunity involves working 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at a specialized campus serving elementary through high school studentsall receiving special education services throughout their day. Qualifications:

Must be Highly Qualified as defined by one of the following: Successfully passed the Minnesota Para Educator Exam (submit score report) At least 60 college credits (submit official transcripts) Experience or strong interest in assisting students with severe disabilities and behavioral needs Comfortable providing support with toileting and personal care, as required by all support staff Ability to work effectively with students from elementary to high school (please mention age group preference, if any) Strong teamwork skills and clear communication with clinical and educational staff

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized behavior, developmental, and academic support in a Setting 4 special education classroom Assist with daily routines, including personal care and toileting, respectfully and professionally Implement individualized education plan (IEP) strategies as directed by certified teachers and related service providers Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment tailored to each students needs Accurately document student progress and incidents as required Enjoy a steady, weekday schedule and the chance to transition to a direct hire role with the district after your contract is completed.
