OS Full Job Description Cloud Systems Engineer Job Type:
Full-Time Work Location:
Langhorne, PA — On-Site We are looking for an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team in Langhorne, Pennsylvania . This is an on-site position and work must be performed from our Langhorne, PA location. The Cloud Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving cloud and on-premises infrastructure across a diverse client environment. This position requires someone who is comfortable working across Microsoft Azure, virtualization platforms, networking, servers, endpoints, and business-critical systems. Our ideal candidate can take ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis through resolution, communicate effectively with clients and coworkers, and recognize when an issue requires escalation. While this is an engineering-focused position, we are an MSP, so providing excellent support to end users remains an important part of the role.
ABOUT US
We are an established IT consulting firm and Managed Service Provider (MSP) serving small and medium-sized businesses throughout the United States. We have been in business for more than 15 years and continue to grow rapidly. Our typical clients have approximately 40-300 users, giving our engineers exposure to a wide variety of technologies, environments, business applications, and infrastructure.
ABOUT YOU
You are a strong technical problem-solver who enjoys figuring out how systems work and, more importantly, why they aren't working. You are comfortable taking ownership of problems rather than simply following a troubleshooting script. You can analyze an issue in real time, identify potential solutions, test those solutions, document your work, and escalate appropriately when necessary. You are also someone your team can depend on. You communicate well, keep your work organized and documented, and can move between projects, infrastructure work, and client support as priorities change. In an MSP environment, no two days are exactly the same. You may spend one day troubleshooting an Azure environment or network issue and the next deploying infrastructure, configuring a firewall, assisting with a client onboarding, or solving an unusual technical problem.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud and virtualized infrastructure. Support and administer Microsoft Azure environments. Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related infrastructure. Work with virtualization platforms including VMware and Proxmox. Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and network connectivity. Diagnose complex server, cloud, networking, and endpoint issues. Participate in infrastructure projects including analysis, design, deployment, documentation, testing, and migration. Assist with onboarding and offboarding client users, systems, and environments. Configure and support Microsoft 365 and common business applications. Install and configure workstations, terminals, printers, and other devices. Maintain accurate technical documentation. Properly document and update assigned service requests within the Help Desk ticketing system. Work directly with clients and end users both remotely and in person. Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership and communication throughout the process.
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE

WE WOULD LIKE
2-4+ years of experience working with cloud and virtualized environments, including Azure, AWS, VMware, and/or Proxmox 2-4+ years of professional IT support, systems administration, or engineering experience Strong experience with Microsoft Azure environments Experience administering Windows Server environments Strong networking fundamentals and proven network diagnostic skills Experience configuring and troubleshooting business-grade firewalls, routers, switches, and access points Experience with Microsoft 365 administration Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to independently research and resolve unfamiliar technical problems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong documentation habits Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Previous MSP experience is a plus
