Salary:

$65,000-$73,000 annually Indirect Buyer Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, a technical field, or a related discipline preferred. At least two years of indirect purchasing or buying experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environment. Experience sourcing MRO supplies, spare parts, equipment repairs, facility services, or packaging materials. Demonstrated experience identifying suppliers, analyzing quotes, negotiating prices, and managing purchase orders. Ability to understand basic technical specifications and communicate effectively with technical teams and suppliers. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience using an ERP system such as SAP preferred. Knowledge of MRP and MPS processes preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. About the Indirect Buyer Role Crown Staffing is seeking an Indirect Buyer for a direct-hire opportunity with an automotive parts manufacturer in Hollyvilla, KY. This position will manage the procurement of MRO supplies, services, spare parts, and other indirect materials needed to support efficient plant operations. Manage purchasing activities for MRO supplies, spare parts, facility services, mold maintenance, packaging, and other non-production needs. Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers. Obtain and analyze quotes and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Issue and follow up on purchase orders to meet operational needs and minimize downtime. Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams to clarify technical requirements. Maintain accurate purchasing, pricing, and supplier records within the ERP system. Resolve delivery, quality, and invoicing issues promptly. Support inventory management for critical spare parts and frequently used supplies. Provide backup support for direct-material purchasing and material planning when needed. Complete additional purchasing-related duties assigned by management.
