Job Description

Role Overview Come join our dynamic team! Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 for Huntington Hospital . Huntington Hospital, a 619‑bed Level II Trauma Center located just north of Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to lead our 3rd‑shift team (10:00 PM-6:30 AM). This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a key part in ensuring a safe, clean, and exceptional environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal manager will have strong customer service skills, a background in hospital EVS, great employee relations, knowledge of patient interviewing, black light, and quality assurance inspections. Floor care knowledge is a plus! Free onsite parking + $15/day meal allowance included! What You'll Do be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores; provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department; lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives; effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or support a diverse and inclusive workforce. What You Bring experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service delivery; customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a hospital environment; strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program; experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines; proficiency with computers and other technology; the ability to speak Spanish is preferred, and will assist in managing this workforce; and/or ability to work, Monday through Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am, with a rotating weekend schedule and some holidays.
