CNC Programmer - II

CNC Programmer - 1st Shift Chapter 2, Inc. is a full-service precision manufacturer seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our 1st shift Production team. This role focuses on CNC program development, optimization, and hands-on machining support. Key Responsibilities Develop, verify, and improve CNC programs for mills and lathes using G-Code and CAM software (Surfcam) Interpret engineering drawings to meet tight tolerances, fits, and finishes Set up and operate CNC machining and turning centers as needed Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies Create setup sheets, operator instructions, and visual aids Assist operators with setups, troubleshooting, and process improvements Create 3D models in SolidWorks as needed Apply shop math skills (algebra & trigonometry) Qualifications Prior experience as a CNC Programmer or Machinist (required) Experience with mills, lathes, and live tooling Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable, team-oriented, and excellent attendance record Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen Pay & Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) 401(k) with matching Health, dental, vision & life insurance Short & long-term disability Paid holidays, vacation & paid lunch Climate-controlled facility Positive, team-focused work culture Why Chapter 2?
