The Assistant Technical Designer plays a critical role in supporting the quality and accuracy of True Religion's garment development process. Reporting to the Senior Technical Designer, this role is responsible for managing and coordinating garment samples throughout their lifecycle—from intake and organization to fit sessions and archiving. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our technical design workflows and contribute to True Religion's continued growth by ensuring garments are accurately measured, documented, and tracked across cross-functional teams with precision and care.THE ROLE
(what you are accountable for): Maintain and update a comprehensive sample tracking system for all incoming, in-process, and returned garments, ensuring accurate and real-time visibility across the team. Track and coordinate sample movement across Production and Product Development teams, serving as the central point of contact for sample status and location. Organize, catalog, and tag samples to ensure accuracy and readiness for fittings, reviews, and cross-functional meetings. Prepare garments and all supporting documentation for fit sessions, including measurement logging, spec sheets, and fit comments. Attend fit sessions, record measurements, take detailed notes, and summarize feedback for distribution to relevant stakeholders. Organize and archive samples by season or category, maintaining an orderly and accessible sample library at all times. Manage sample storage logs and fulfill sample pull and return requests in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure accurate garment labeling, measurements, and internal documentation are consistently maintained across all styles. Assist with administrative tasks, including creating vendor invoices for sample shipments and supporting cross-functional coordination as needed.YOU ARE:

You have a foundational passion for garment construction and are eager to grow your technical design career at a brand known for bold craftsmanship.REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technical Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 0-2 years of experience in a Technical Design or Assistant Technical Designer role Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and overseas vendors Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate data Foundational knowledge of sewing techniques and garment construction Proven ability to follow through on tasks and projects with a high level of accountability Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational accuracy Positive, team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to workPREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience with Gerber Accumark or similar technical design software Experience with international production and sourcing workflows Background in pattern making and drapingADDITIONAL ROLE INFORMATION
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $27-29/hour ($56,160 - $58,240). This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This range represents the low and high end of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. True Religion reasonably expects to pay within this range in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity.Perks :
