Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Advance your career by contributing your expertise in echocardiographic imaging within a dynamic healthcare setting. The Echocardiography Technician will play a vital role in providing high-quality cardiac ultrasound services to patients, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic information for the care team.
Schedule:
Full-time contract position
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Echocardiography or Cardiovascular Technology program Registered or eligible for registration as a Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS) Proven experience performing a range of echocardiographic exams, including both adult and pediatric imaging if applicable Familiarity with imaging equipment, safety protocols, and digital reporting systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient care and collaborate with physicians
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct various echocardiographic procedures, such as M-mode, 2D, Doppler, and color flow studies, according to established protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy in imaging and reporting Analyze images, prepare preliminary findings, and work closely with physicians to confirm diagnoses Maintain patient records and uphold confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations Contribute to a safe, productive, and high-performing clinical environment This role offers the opportunity to work alongside accomplished healthcare professionals in a supportive environment recognized for its commitment to patient care.
