Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits experienced paraprofessionals seeking impactful work in education across the Bucks County area. This contract role is ideal for candidates ready to provide direct support in classrooms serving K-12 students with moderate to high-intensity needs, including those with severe autism and behavioral challenges. As part of an active para pool, you'll be deployed quickly to fill newly open assignments, with the potential for continuous placements through June 2027. Preferred candidates thrive in dynamic environments, bring strong behavioral intervention skills, and are comfortable providing hands-on support such as assisting with activities of daily living and implementing essential safety interventions. Flexibility is key as start and end times will adjust to align with varying school site requirements between 6:45 AM and 4:01 PM, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week). The first week features a mandatory orientation at the main administrative building.
Qualifications:
At least 1+ year of classroom paraprofessional experience supporting students with severe autism and challenging behaviors (PreK-12) Confident working with moderate to high-intensity needs, including aggressive/self-injurious behaviors Experience with ABA, MDS, ADL, and providing structured behavioral support Ability to commute within 35 minutes of the placement locations Available for full-time, weekday schedules and required orientation Meets Pennsylvania state paraprofessional requirements or willing to obtain certification within 60 days
Responsibilities:
