This pool provides immediate deployment opportunities to classrooms experiencing frequent openings, supporting students who may present aggressive behaviors, self-injurious actions, and intensive safety needs. What you bring:

At least 1 year of full-time paraprofessional experience (PreK-12) in a special education classroom with children exhibiting significant autism-related behaviors and intensive needs Familiarity with MDS, ADL, AS3, behavioral interventions, and autism support strategies Ability to implement safety interventions and support students 1:1 or in small groups Comfort with the physical aspects of the role: assisting with toileting, diapering, transfers, feeding, and other ADLs Residence within a 35-minute commute of assigned sites Willingness to work any 8-hour shift between 6:45 AM and 4:01 PM, Monday through Friday Commitment to attend a full, mandatory orientation week and complete all PA-required clearances on deadline Ability to meet at least one PA state paraprofessional requirement or obtain certification within 60 days of assignment start Your responsibilities: Create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for high-needs K-12 students Consistently implement individual behavioral and safety plans under supervision Support inclusive learning by assisting with communication, daily routines, and classroom activities Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and school teams to maximize student growth This contract offers an opportunity to truly impact the lives of children and families in your community.
