Senior Pipeline Engineer (PE) Water & Wastewater Conveyance | In‑Office | Southern California About the Opportunity An established Southern California engineering firm is making a strategic, high‑impact hire to strengthen its pipeline infrastructure practice. This role is for a Senior ‑level Pipeline Engineer who wants to be a true technical authority—not a PM with a pipeline title. You'll step into a position where your expertise directly enables project delivery, supports growing demand, and sets the technical standard for critical water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure across the region. This is a hands‑on, in‑office role designed for engineers who value collaboration, technical rigor, and ownership of their work. What You'll Be Doing Lead the technical design and delivery of pipeline conveyance projects Serve as Engineer of Record , including stamping plans Direct design approach, resolve technical challenges, and review detailed calculations and drawings Work on conveyance and storage systems for: Wastewater Recycled water Potable water Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and leadership in a highly interactive, in‑office environment Support proposals and pursuits as a technical contributor (not sales‑driven) What This Role Is Not ❌ A project‑management‑only position ❌ A treatment or process engineering role ❌ A remote or hybrid opportunity This role is for engineers who want to stay close to the technical work and be accountable for design quality and outcomes.
