Job Description

Job Summary Full-Service Resort | Lodging & Food & Beverage We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of our full-service resort with approximately 100 employees. This is a hands-on position responsible for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and credit card reconciliation, general ledger activity, homeowner statements, and month-end accounting. The Accounting Manager supervises one accounting team member and works closely with senior management. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process and reconcile payroll for approximately 100 employees.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile daily cash, bank accounts, credit cards, and POS activity.
  • Prepare routine journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare accounting schedules and supporting information for financial reporting.
  • Manage homeowner statements, including rental income, expenses, fees, and property-level reconciliations.
  • Work with lodging, food & beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Supervise and provide direction to one accounting team member.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll, homeowner, and financial information. Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and solve accounting problems.
  • Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Hospitality, resort, hotel, or restaurant accounting experience is a plus.
  • Accounting or business degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
