Starting $17 Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts in Tofte, Minnesota is seeking full-time, seasonal Recreation and Activities Guides for the Winter 2026/2027 season from 10/6/26-4/3/26 with an opportunity to extend for full-time year-round employment. Recreation & Activities Guides are the face of customer experience at Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts. Guides are responsible for providing safe, educational, inclusive, and fun experiences for people of all ages and abilities. A guide is responsible for leading 2-3 tours a day. Tours are located throughout Superior National Forest, Minnesota State Parks, Lake Superior and Bluefin properties. Tour locations vary based on schedule provided by Activities Coordinator. In any given day, you can be taking up to 10 people out on the trails providing an outdoor educational experience. Guides are required to provide a high level of customer service and role-model appropriate behavior in natural spaces. See Duties and Responsibilities section below for full list. Daily breakdown 70% Leading tours 15% cleaning, maintaining, preparing equipment and resources in Activities Department 10% Other side tasks 5% assisting guests by recommending trails, and outfitting equipment

Recreation & Activities Coordinator Program Duties Follow daily procedures for opening and closing activities center. Conduct and participate in outdoor programs and tours including but not limited to: winter hikes/snowshoeing, cross country skiing, bonfire hikes, crafting programs, shuttles Ability to carry out activities schedule. Start and finish tours on-time. Set up, tear down, and clean up after programs, tours, arts, and crafts. Maintain activities supplies, equipment and shuttle vehicles. Keep all activity and resort areas well-kept and clean. Report inventory needs and broken equipment to the Activities Coordinator. Responsible for sign out procedures of rental equipment. Be aware and knowledgeable of Bluefin activities and local area events. Assist in updating activities boards, fliers, and pamphlets, and schedules. Help with occasional special event shuttles (i.e. weddings, holidays). Snow removal. Surfacing and maintain the ice rinks on property. Follow any other tasks as requested by the activities coordinator.

Demonstrate enthusiasm, energy, positive attitude, and dependability. Qualifications Education and experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be at least 21 years or over One to three months related experience and/or training. 1-2 years completion of College or University preferred Language Skills and Reasoning Ability Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to guests and other team members. Ability to communicate needs and/or concerns to their supervisor. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions furnished in written or verbal form. Ability to manage risk safely and efficiently. Certifications and Documentation Valid driver's license and be eligible to be added onto our drivers insurance. CPR and First Aid (can be provided by Bluefin)

preferred Physical Demands Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and over 100 with assistance - items such as kayaks, canoes, and ski equipment. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to sit, climb, and balance. Ability to hike over uneven terrain up to five miles.

•While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to cold, snowy, wet, or hot weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is mostly low to moderate.
