Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipunctures and capillary blood collections with precision, following established safety and infection control protocols Accurately label and process specimens for laboratory analysis Verify patient identities and maintain detailed, confidential records Prepare and maintain collection areas and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized workspace Respond promptly and compassionately to patient needs, creating a comfortable collection experience Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding specimen requirements and timelines
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program or equivalent experience Certification as a Phlebotomist (national certification preferred) Previous work experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting strongly desired Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient service This is an excellent opportunity for professionals skilled in phlebotomy to deliver high-quality laboratory services and contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes.
