Key Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Demonstrated PACU nursing experience (recent, relevant experience highly preferred) Strong assessment, critical thinking, and rapid response skills Proficient with monitoring, pain management, and post-operative care protocols Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams Current BLS and ACLS certificationsSchedule:
Contract position; schedule details provided during the interview processPrimary Responsibilities:
Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring safety and stability Perform comprehensive post-operative assessments and respond to any complications Manage airways, pain levels, hemodynamics, and overall patient comfort Collaborate closely with physicians, surgical teams, and other nursing staff Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative expectations and ongoing care Document all interventions, changes, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health recordBenefits:
