Walk through Miami's beautiful Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden at night while exploring a combination of lighting effects and music. Marvel at unique sculptures, interact with the talking tree, and much more! Start date for this position will be around 3rd week of October. The Event will open to the public mid November, running through early January. 2027 Typical shift will be 4pm-11pm Weekdays and 4pm-12:30am on Weekends. Lead / supervise staff. Coach them to increase efficiency and to provide top notch guest service. Manage relationships with various vendors of the show Be first line to deal with any guest complaints, report and help document any incidents or safety situations. Guest service / Box office ticketing experience a plus!

• Answering questions from visitors. Please be friendly and greet everyone who passes. Let the visitor know that you are there to assist them.
• Way finding. Many visitors need a little help finding the next stop or a particular point of interest. Be aware of open maps!
• Overseeing the area. Please keep an eye on installations to make sure they are functioning properly. Also, keep an eye out for potential safety issues.
• Communicating with the Event Manager in the event of an emergency or any other safety/security-related incident.
• Preventing vandalism or trespassing on the part of the visitor.

It is essential that the staff keep an eye on what is happening in the garden.

Qualifications:

Event is outdoors. Ability to stand or walk around for 5-6 hour shifts.

• High School Diploma preferred
• Previous experience in customer service, entertainment, events or hospitality is

REQUIRED

• Comfortable working in large-group environments
• Fluency in English required. Proficiency in other languages like SPANISH is a plus but not required.
• Reliable commute to Fairchild Gardens in coral gables is required.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week including weekends, evenings and holidays is required.
