Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and a positive attitude to make them feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, menu options, and special events Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment at all times Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate guest seating and special requests Handle guest concerns promptly and courteously, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills Assist with managing waitlists during busy periods, ensuring timely seating and minimizing wait times Skills Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor are key Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a lively setting Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information and foster teamwork among staff Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hotel or hospitality environments enhances guest interaction capabilities Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices ensures professional interactions both in person and over the phone Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Host and become an integral part of creating memorable experiences for every guest!
