We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Public Space Attendant to help keep our hotel clean, organized, and welcoming throughout the afternoon and evening. This position supports housekeeping and hotel operations by maintaining interior and exterior public areas, assisting with linen and supplies, and responding to guest needs. This is an active, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready. Responsibilities Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including the lobby, hallways, elevators, stairways, entrances, and other common spaces Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors throughout assigned areas Dust furniture, fixtures, ledges, and other surfaces Clean glass, windows, doors, and other high-touch surfaces Clean, restock, and maintain restaurant and employee bathrooms throughout the shift Provide cleaning and touch-up support in the Event Center during events, including bathrooms, common areas, and event spaces as needed Refresh guest rooms upon request, including replacing towels, removing trash, replenishing amenities, and completing other light housekeeping needs Stock and organize housekeeping carts and supplies for upcoming shifts Put away clean linen and maintain organized linen and storage areas Keep guest hallways, housekeeping work areas, linen areas, and storage spaces clean and organized Collect and dispose of trash from designated areas throughout the property Restock housekeeping and public-area supplies as needed Sweep and maintain exterior entrances, walkways, and other assigned outdoor areas Clean and maintain hotel patios and outdoor guest spaces, including removing trash and debris and keeping furniture and surrounding areas presentable Regularly check exterior entrances and patios throughout the shift to ensure they remain clean and welcoming Assist with general upkeep and light maintenance of the building and surrounding areas, reporting larger maintenance concerns to the appropriate department Respond to housekeeping and guest requests in a timely and professional manner Assist the Housekeeping team with additional cleaning, stocking, and organizational projects as needed Communicate maintenance, cleanliness, safety, or guest concerns to the appropriate department Help ensure all assigned interior and exterior areas remain clean, stocked, organized, and guest-ready throughout the evening What We're Looking For Dependable and comfortable working independently Strong attention to detail and organization Takes initiative and notices areas that need attention without always needing direction Friendly and professional when interacting with guests Able to prioritize tasks and adjust to changing needs during busy evenings and events Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Previous housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required Able to lift, carry, push, and pull housekeeping supplies and equipment Able to bend, reach, walk, climb stairs, and remain on your feet for extended periods Schedule This is an afternoon/evening position and may include weekends and holidays. Availability during hotel events and busier periods is important.
