Job Description
Overview The HR Administrator is a key member of our People team, supporting the employees who keep our communities running every day. In this role, you'll help deliver a seamless employee experience across our portfolio—handling employee changes, payroll support, benefits administration, and offboarding. You'll partner closely with Community Managers and on-site teams to ensure HR processes are accurate, timely, and service-focused. Your work behind the scenes plays a direct role in supporting our teams and enhancing the resident experience. What You'll Do:
Support day-to-day HR and payroll operations, including employee updates (PAFs, benefits changes, terminations, and more) Manage employee leave tracking and pay coordination in UKG Partner with Community Managers to ensure smooth, timely offboarding experiences (final pay, bonuses, documentation) Help administer employee benefits, including enrollments, life events, reconciliations, and Open Enrollment support Respond to employee questions through the HR Help Desk- be a go-to resource for benefits and HR support Assist with unemployment claims and benefits-related processes Prepare and maintain key workforce and payroll reports (headcount, turnover, anniversaries, bonuses) Collaborate with Accounting on financial processes like check requests and transfers Support engaging HR programs such as loyalty increases and housing initiatives Help maintain and optimize HR systems like UKG, iCIMS, Awardco, and Calm Ensure accurate data management and compliance with company policies

Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS/HR software (experience with UKG, iCIMS, Awardco, or Calm is a plus). Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel) for report preparation (e.g., bonus spreadsheets, turnover, and payroll reports). Foundational knowledge of core HR practices, including benefits administration, payroll support, and regulatory compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a Human Resources environment.Similar remote jobs
