Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Shadow theHead Trainer:
Advance training methods, communication strategies, and how to guide both dogs and owners through challenges and training goals.Ensure Safe Environment:
Keep up a safe and sanitary envirment by completeing maintenance tasks.Admin:
Record notes and logging for training client profiles. Create content for social media and client use.Communication Skills:
Clearly explain training concepts, give constructive feedback, and navigate difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.Support Lesson Planning:
Help create engaging, effective training plans tailored to client goals.Lead Lessons:
As your confidence and skills grow, you'll participate and begin taking the lead in of sessions with support from the Head Trainer, and when ready leading up your own sessions with clients. Embrace aGrowth Mindset:
Receive and apply feedback, ask questions, and actively work to improve your skills each week. Practice homework assigned by the head trainer to improve your skills.What We're Looking For:
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills A genuine desire to help both dogs and their people Willingness to receive feedback and apply it Comfortable with problem-solving and handling tough conversations Strong work ethic, punctuality, and accountability Passion for learning and a collaborative team mindset Open minded to training methods, including tools like a crate, e-collar, or prong collar. Previous experience with balanced dog training methods a plus Reliable transportationExpectations During Apprenticeship:

Upon successful completion of the 6-month (or sooner if qualifies) probation, you may be offered a permanent position as a Dog Trainer with our team. This role includes increased responsibilities, continued mentorship, and a pay increase based on performance and readiness to lead sessions independently. We are invested in developing long-term team members and value those who are committed to growth and delivering high-quality training and client support.Benefits:

Hourly pay $19-24/hr (possibly more, if experienced)Schedule:
