Infant/Toddler Teacher/assistant Teacher Intrernational Nido of Montessori Montebello, CA Job Details Part-time $500 - $750 a month 2 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Classroom management Autism Spectrum Disorder (early childhood general education) Toddler care Montessori Full Job Description The Infant Teacher Assistant is responsible for the care, supervision and management of a class of Infants and toddlers ( 2 months -4yrs) in accord with the goals and curriculum plan of Montessori approach. The principal duties of the Infant/toddler Teacher include: conduct focused observations of children, carry out activities on a daily basis ( as needed) and evaluate the effectiveness of child development activities, ensure the safety and well-being of the children while napping , and contribute to the effective operation of the overall early care and education environment in accordance to the Montessori philosophy. The Infant/toddler Teacher reports to the Director.

• No experience preferred, willing to train the Montessori philosophy. This is a home school environment.

• Education :

  preferred to have 3 to 12 units at least of child development. AA or AS preferred but not limited to and Preferred Montessori training but not limited to.
• Bilingual with Spanish is a plus.
• Teacher credential is a plus.
