Salary:
$63,000-$75,000 annually EHS Specialist Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. At least five years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Automotive or heavy-industry experience preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910/1920, EPA, NIOSH, and DOT regulations. Experience conducting audits, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses. Knowledge of machine guarding, chemical safety, fall protection, LOTO, and emergency response. Proficiency with EHS software, reporting systems, and data analysis. CSP, CIH, or an equivalent professional certification preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to remain organized and decisive under pressure. Fluent English required; Spanish or Mandarin proficiency preferred. Availability for emergency on-call duties and safety walkthroughs across production shifts. Resume and client interview required. About the EHS Specialist Role Crown Staffing is seeking an EHS Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity with an automotive parts manufacturer in Hollyvilla, KY. This position will lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives, maintain regulatory compliance, reduce workplace risks, and promote a zero-incident safety culture. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, and DOT regulations. Lead internal EHS audits and coordinate regulatory inspections. Maintain permits, environmental reports, and hazardous-waste records. Conduct job safety analyses, process hazard analyses, and workplace risk assessments. Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Develop and deliver training on LOTO, PPE, chemical safety, and emergency response. Lead safety committees and promote proactive reporting and behavior-based safety programs. Oversee air, water, and waste-management programs. Support sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives. Develop and conduct emergency drills for fires, chemical spills, and other incidents. Serve as the primary incident coordinator with external agencies. Track EHS performance metrics and maintain required reports, includingOSHA 300
records. Present EHS findings and recommendations to company leadership. Partner with Operations and Engineering to support new projects and contractor compliance.
