Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, beginning in August. This full-time role takes place across two vibrant school sites near Mariposa, CA, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade within mild/moderate settings. Bring your dedication to two distinctive environments. One position focuses on K-6 learners, offering collaboration with supportive administrators and an inclusive school community. The second involves a unique middle/high school caseload—currently five students (maximum ten)—within a self-contained behavior intervention classroom (Emotional Disability program). You'll be partnered with two full-time classroom aides and have the chance to deliver meaningful interventions to a diverse student group.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential (required) Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and facilitating IEPs Experience working with social/emotional needs within school-aged populations Background in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to foster a supportive, structured classroom environment Commitment to in-person instruction throughout the duration of the contract
Role Responsibilities:
