Journeyman Plumber — Great Woods Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Mansfield, MA Great Woods Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a growing residential service company serving the Mansfield area. We're looking for a licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team and run service calls independently. HVAC experience is a strong plus — we handle both plumbing and HVAC service work and are happy to cross-train the right person. This is a service-focused role, not new construction. You'll be diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems in customers' homes, presenting pricing and options, and representing the company professionally on every call. What you'll do Run residential service calls independently, from diagnosis through completion Perform repairs and replacements: water heaters, drain and sewer lines, fixtures, gas piping, and more Present customers with clear, flat-rate pricing options and explain recommended work Use Housecall Pro to document jobs, take photos, and manage invoicing in the field Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked van Communicate professionally with customers and coordinate with the office as needed Assist with light HVAC diagnostics and service calls if experienced (mini-splits, furnaces, boilers) What we're looking for Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber license, active and in good standing Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across residential plumbing systems Comfortable working solo and making decisions in the field Clear communicator who can explain work and pricing to homeowners Organized, reliable, and takes pride in a clean finished job Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (you'll be operating a company van) Flexibility for occasional Saturdays or later hours when the schedule requires it HVAC experience a plus, not required What we offer Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance Pension and annuity (union shop) Company van and fuel card Flat-rate pricing model — no guessing what to charge on site Steady, year-round residential work with a strong repeat customer base Room to grow as the company scales
