Job Type:

Part-Time (Up to 24 hours per week) We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct support to an active teenage girl with autism in Potomac, MD. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing behavior support strategies, promoting independence, and encouraging communication and social engagement in home and community settings. Responsibilities Build a positive, trusting relationship with the participant Provide supervision and ensure safety during activities and community outings Support communication using a speech-generating device Implement behavior support strategies consistent with RBT training Encourage independence, self-regulation, and daily living skills Plan and participate in academic, recreational, and community-based activities Use positive reinforcement to support social, emotional, and behavioral growth Assist with routines, leisure activities, and community participation Required Qualifications Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification

• Required CPR Certification
• Required First Aid Certification
• Required Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality support Preferred Qualifications Experience working with teenagers with autism Teaching, special education, or caregiving experience Experience using AAC devices or speech-generating communication systems Schedule Weekdays After-school hours: 4:00 PM•6:00 PM Occasional evening shifts until 9:00

PM Weekends Saturday and Sunday:

10:00 AM
