We manufacture cannabis concentrates, live resin vape cartridges, infused pre-rolls, and other products for the New Jersey wholesale market. We are looking for an experienced Hydrocarbon Extraction Specialist to join our manufacturing team. Hands-on hydrocarbon extraction experience is required for this position. We are open to candidates with 1+ year of experience if they have strong practical knowledge of hydrocarbon extraction and can confidently work with closed-loop extraction equipment. What We're Looking For Our main priority is finding someone who understands BHO/PHO hydrocarbon extraction and has personally worked with hydrocarbon extraction equipment in a cannabis production environment. You should understand the extraction process beyond basic theory and be comfortable participating in production runs, operating equipment safely, identifying problems, and maintaining consistent product quality. Experience with an ExtractionTek MEP-30 is highly preferred, but experience with comparable closed-loop hydrocarbon extraction systems will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on BHO/PHO hydrocarbon extraction using closed-loop extraction equipment. Operate or assist with the ExtractionTek MEP-30 extraction system. Prepare cannabis material for extraction runs. Perform system setup, operation, recovery, shutdown, and cleaning procedures. Understand hydrocarbon solvent handling and recovery processes. Monitor pressure, temperature, solvent flow, and other critical extraction parameters. Perform post-extraction processing and assist with purging and finishing concentrates. Produce or assist with products including live resin, badder, sugar, shatter, and other hydrocarbon concentrates . Troubleshoot extraction equipment and identify mechanical or operational issues. Clean, inspect, and maintain extraction equipment between production runs. Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and production specifications. Maintain accurate batch and production records. Follow METRC requirements and internal inventory controls. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant extraction workspace. Follow C1D1, fire-code, PPE, and hydrocarbon solvent safety requirements. Assist with additional manufacturing processes when needed. Required Experience Hydrocarbon extraction experience is mandatory.

Qualified candidates should have:

1+ year of hands-on hydrocarbon extraction experience in cannabis or hemp manufacturing. Direct experience performing BHO, PHO, or similar hydrocarbon extraction . Experience operating a closed-loop hydrocarbon extraction system . Practical understanding of extraction pressures, temperatures, solvent recovery, and safe equipment operation. Understanding of hydrocarbon extraction safety and proper solvent handling. Ability to follow SOPs and accurately document production activities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production equipment. Ability to work safely in a regulated manufacturing environment. Eligibility to obtain required New Jersey cannabis employee credentials . Most Important Qualification We are not looking for someone who only has general cannabis, cultivation, dispensary, packaging, or solventless extraction experience. The successful candidate must have actual hands-on hydrocarbon extraction experience . Someone with 1 year of strong hands-on hydrocarbon experience may be a better fit than someone with several years in cannabis who has never operated hydrocarbon extraction equipment.
