Tallo Wins 2026 EdTech Award and Gold Stevie® Award

Tallo promotional banner with blue abstract background announcing "Award Winning Career Platform" and "2026 EdTech Award Winner. 2026 Gold Stevie Winner." The graphic highlights recognition for career exploration technology and edtech innovation and includes award badges reading "Gold 2026 Stevie Winner American Business Awards" and "The EdTech Awards Cool Tool Finalist 2026."

Tallo picked up two national awards this month — and three additional finalist honors to go with them.

Tallo won the 2026 EdTech Cool Tool Award for Hiring, Internships, or Apprenticeship Solution and the Gold Stevie® Award for Career and Workforce Readiness Solution at the 24th Annual American Business Awards. On top of that, Tallo was named an EdTech Awards finalist in three additional categories: Career Planning Solution (for the second year in a row), EdTech Company Setting a Trend, and the EdTech Leadership Award for CEO Allison Danielsen.

That’s two wins and three finalist honors across two national programs — the strongest recognition Tallo has received to date.

Why This Matters

These aren’t participation trophies. The EdTech Awards, now in its 16th year, is one of the largest recognition programs in education technology. The American Business Awards is the top business award program in the U.S. Both evaluate entrants on real criteria — impact, results, innovation, and value — not marketing spend.

Last year, Tallo was named an EdTech Awards finalist for Career Planning Solution. This year, we took home the win in a new category and added a Gold Stevie to go with it.

The recognition reflects something we hear from users every day: the tools are working.

What We’re Building (and Why It’s Getting Noticed)

Tallo exists to help people ages 13–30 move from career uncertainty to confident action. That means meeting users wherever they are in their journey — whether they’re a high school freshman exploring interests for the first time or a 25-year-old figuring out a career pivot — and giving them real tools, not vague advice.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

Four million+ job listings matched to individual profiles, along with 21,000+ scholarships totaling $1.6 billion in available funding and 300,000 courses to help users build the skills employers are actually looking for.

Career Navigator helps users explore 1,800+ career paths across 170 industries, powered by real-time labor market data so the information reflects what’s actually happening in the job market right now.

Real Careers, Real Journeys™ connects users directly with working professionals across fields from medicine to manufacturing through on-demand video and live sessions — real people sharing real career stories.

Work-based learning programs — including micro-internships, 10-week internships, and year-long apprenticeships — give users hands-on experience contributing to real projects. This is what earned the EdTech Cool Tool win.

What Users Are Saying

Spencer M. from South Carolina put it simply: “Tallo has done me a world of help by connecting me to a number of pre-professional organizations and schools that I have grown to love. I even have my job because of Tallo!”

And Arnell, a first-time intern at Tallo, described what that opportunity looked like in practice: “I had kind of a poor idea of what [an internship] would look like. Just busy work and things that we’ll never see on the page of the company. But here we actually work on real things that actually impact students.”

That’s the standard we’re building toward — not just connecting people to opportunities, but making sure those opportunities are real, relevant, and worth their time.

What’s Next

These awards reflect where Tallo is right now, but we’re not slowing down. With 2 million users across all 50 states, 900+ employer partners, and new features launching throughout the year, there’s a lot more ahead.

If you’re already part of the Tallo community — thank you. This recognition belongs to you as much as it does to us.

If you haven’t created your profile yet, there’s no better time to start.
