This September, we’re exploring creative careers and the projects that fuel them. Over four weeks, you’ll discover what draws you in creatively, reflect on whether it’s a path you’d want to explore further, and try your hand at actually designing something: a new concept for Cal.
4-Week Challenge Timeline
Week 1 — Sept. 1
Discover Your Tastes
Do a discovery exercise to notice what you’re drawn to creatively: colors, characters, stories, style. Not a test, just a few minutes to explore.
Week 2 — Sept. 8
Explore Your Creative Strengths
Take a 5-minute quiz to explore your creative strengths. Get your type, share your result.
Week 3 — Sept. 15
Get Feedback on Your Ideas
Share what you have, even if it’s only an idea or a rough draft. Jae’s active in the thread on Wednesday, September 16 to respond all day!
Week 4 — Sept. 22-29
Submit Your Final Project + Reflect
Bring together what you discovered, what you enjoy, and the feedback you received into a final concept: a drawing, written pitch, digital design, video, or even a song! It’s whatever format you feel most creative in. Wrap it up by taking the Creative Careers Fit Quiz.
Badge Deadline: September 30
What you can win: The top submission gets an exclusive interview featured on Tallo’s channels. Strong submissions may also be featured.
