Cal’s Birthday Card Challenge
Natasha Naveed is part of Business Professionals of America (BPA), an organization focused on helping students build business, leadership, and career-ready skills. For Natasha, developing those skills also means finding enjoyable ways to practice creativity and explore new interests.
We asked users to create a birthday card to celebrate Cal, and Natasha delivered big. She created an interactive theme park for Cal,
inspired by The Land of Stories.
“I’ve always been inspired by The Land of Stories because Chris Colfer teaches us that even fairy tale characters can have an impact that can change the world positively. Regarding the theme park, it just seemed like a fun way to contribute to the birthday card! ”

Chamare Woods
“Who Do You Look Up?” To Reflection
Chamare Woods is a thoughtful, creative participant in Tallo’s community challenges. By reflecting on a figure she admires through the prompt, Chamare has found a meaningful way to think about her experiences, the people who have influenced her, and where she wants to go next.
We asked users to write 3-5 sentences on the figure they looked up to most. We were pleasantly surprised by Chamare’s pick.
Chamare’s Reflection:
“Someone who has inspired me since I was very small and kickstarted my love for art is Bob Ross. His calm demeanor and kind words and forgiveness of mistakes helped me forgive myself for some many big and small things. I started off watching his shows and trying my best to follow along with big hopes and tiny fingers. I may not be interested in becoming a painter exactly (I do enjoy it), [but] it helped me accept my creative process which can be a bit slow. I may not have watched him in a really long time but those messages and calm feelings will always stay with me. I like to think that when the the sky is extra pretty God let Bob Ross have a turn painting it. I’m not used to portraits or realism but I think this turned out pretty good.”
Turns out, winning the challenge was a pleasant surprise for Chamare too. When asked about her feelings, she said this:
“I used to assume that I won’t win things like this and it wasn’t worth it. I am better now at trying whether or not I get the outcome I want.”

Damian H
Postcard for Future Me Challenge
Damian is an active, consistent presence in Tallo’s community and challenges. He approaches both community challenges and personal work with confidence, creativity, and an optimistic work ethic.
We asked users to write a postcard to their future selves, whether that was words of encouragement, inspiration or advice.
Here’s What Damian Wrote:
“Dear Damian: I just want you to know, that you’re doing great. No matter what comes next, you will overcome it. You will be the best, to yourself, and caring around yourself; the people.”
Damian’s postcard came straight from the heart. Here’s what he had to say about the challenge:
“You might get something out of it, you might not. But it isn’t what the rewards are about, its about making you think, makes your brain to be put to use. ”

Our winners took these mindful lessons from the challenge:
Prioritizing Growth and Learning
More than prize money or recognition, Damian appreciated the challenge because it encouraged him to grow. He saw the prompt as an opportunity to reflect on his future and think about his current behaviors. The forward-thinking mindset that he developed as a result is something he thinks all Community members could benefit from.
Transforming Fun into Future-Ready Skills
Developing the confidence and motivation that came from creating something was Natasha’s favorite part of the challenge. As a naturally creative person, she loved experimenting with her talents, and finding a unique way to bring the prompt to life. To her, Tallo’s Community challenges are an opportunity for people to build useful skills in a fun and creative way.
Building Confidence Through Participation
Chamare didn’t come into the challenge with full confidence — it was something she had to develop as she worked through the prompt. But by the end, she became more willing to try, reflect on her experiences, and share her perspective. Now she’s more self-assured, and plans to continue participating in future challenges. Best of all, she’s encouraging others to give them a chance, too.

Victoria Unrein
Cal’s Birthday Challenge
Victoria is Tallo’s Social Media Manager, and a big fan of Cal. She worked hard to bring this challenge to Tallo’s employees, and ended up having our favorite submission of the bunch.
Tallo employees also got in on some of the fun! We asked our team to create something for Cal’s birthday- the results were stunning.
