Employee parking available About the Opportunity Beacon Hill is partnering with a leading organization in Miramar, FL to hire a Facilities Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing exceptional workplace and facilities support. The Facilities Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient office environment while serving as a liaison between employees, vendors, and service providers. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily site inspections and office walkthroughs to ensure a clean, safe, organized, and fully operational workplace. Respond to facilities-related work orders, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and ensure service requests are completed within established timelines and performance standards. Coordinate onsite services and amenities, including food services, fitness offerings, conference and meeting support, office moves, mail and courier services, and employee events. Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and service providers, providing direction and ensuring work is completed successfully. Assist with vendor procurement activities and maintain accurate site records, documentation, and facilities-related web pages. Support client service initiatives by meeting contractual obligations, maintaining service-level expectations, and delivering an exceptional employee experience. Assist with emergency response planning, evacuation procedures, after-hours emergencies, and environmental health and safety compliance. Partner with workplace teams and stakeholders to continuously improve site operations and employee satisfaction. Qualifications Required Qualifications Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize competing responsibilities. Self-motivated, adaptable, and highly customer-service oriented. Ability to remain professional and composed in fast-paced or challenging situations. Comfortable lifting, pushing, or moving materials and equipment as needed. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Proficiency with email, technology platforms, and basic business software. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience. Previous experience in facilities management, property management, hospitality, workplace services, or a related field. Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices. Familiarity with building systems such as HVAC, fire protection, electrical, and mechanical systems. Experience supporting laboratory or technical workspaces is a plus. Strong Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills. Basic financial or budgeting knowledge.
