POSITION SUMMARY

The Agriculture Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for daily equipment and maintenance needs of operations specifically to support the agriculture properties. This will include being on site to handle any needed maintenance on the equipment or repairs. Responsibilities will include managing all regular maintenance for all equipment, documenting inventory/ parts, and materials to support operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

but not limited to Be a point of contact for repairs for agriculture equipment prioritizing equipment for Myakka Turf. Performing daily preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment (Gas, Diesel equipment.) Maintaining an organized and clean shop area. Lift at least 50 pounds. Maintains exceptional records of all equipment, preventative maintenance schedules, and other items. Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. Proficient in interpreting repair manuals, instruction sheets, and hydraulic and electrical schematics. Maintain reel and rotary mowers, grove style well motors, liner irrigation systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of older and newer diesel equipment Experience with grass cutting and turf growing agriculture equipment Experience with reel mowers and grinding/ adjusting height Small engine knowledge Strong communication skills Ability to use Mircosoft products (

Outlook, word) Ability to apply strong planning, organizational and leadership skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment The ability to weld and fabricate to aid in repairs. Experience:

2 years' experience in maintenance/repair or operations of agriculture equipment Formal education/certification preferred
