Job Description

Job role: Sr.
Controls Engineer Location:
Greentown, PA, Hybrid Duration:
Full time/Permanent role willing to relocate (assistance available). work authorization :
US Citizens Required Skills:
  • Provide day-to-day subject matter expert (SME) support for automated and electromechanical process control systems used in landfills, wastewater treatment, biogas extraction, renewable energy, recycling, and organics processing.
  • Serve as an SME in SCADA and ICS technologies, offering technical guidance and support.
  • Proficient with Rockwell Automation platforms, including Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, CCW, FactoryTalk View ME/SE, and PlantPAx, with the ability to develop from the ground up, modify, troubleshoot, and support process control applications.
  • Experience developing and supporting HMI applications using PanelView, Maple Systems, and similar operator interface platforms.
  • Experience with GE/Emerson, AutomationDirect, and/or Inductive Automation Ignition a plus.
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, HART, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.
  • Understanding of industrial process engineering and control system design principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings across a range of industrial processes.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC control circuitry and industrial control panel design.
  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor controls, and related equipment.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable NFPA standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
