Springdale, Ohio Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Production Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in the food production process, operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a clean and secure work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate production equipment according to detailed Work Instructions and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Conduct lab sampling and basic testing to ensure product quality and compliance with food safety standards. Maintain biosecurity protocols and production security procedures at all times. Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to meet daily output goals and deadlines. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and yard spotters to move and stage raw materials and finished products. Keep work areas clean and sanitized; perform regular sanitation of equipment as required. Record and maintain accurate production data and documentation. Support team members and adapt to different production tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
Ability to work in a food manufacturing or industrial environment. Flexibility to work either day or night shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of laboratory testing and production documentation. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, stooping).
Preferred:
Prior experience in the food processing or manufacturing industry. Familiarity with forklift operation and other warehouse or production equipment.
Language:
Ability to speak and write English at a basic level is a plus.
Tools & Equipment Used:
Forklifts, yard spotters, conveyors, and other manufacturing equipment. Standard office equipment including computers, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Work may be performed in hot, cold, dusty, or humid conditions depending on the season. Requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work around machinery and cleaning agents. Must be mentally adaptable and capable of following complex instructions in a variety of situations. Why Join Us?
