ACCOUNTANT Derby, CT We're working with a growing organization looking to add an Accountant to its team.
JOB COSTING EXPERIENCE IS KEY!
This is a great opportunity for an accountant who enjoys working with project costs, financial reporting, and partnering with operational teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Job costing and cost analysis
- Month-end reporting and forecasting
- WIP schedules and project cost updates
- Vendor invoice processing and reconciliations
- Assisting with AP and payment processing
- Working closely with Project Managers and other internal teams
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong job costing experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
- Sage 300 or similar accounting system experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Construction industry experience is NOT required.
