Originally launched as a consumer beverage brand offering ready-to-drink canned coffee, FIKA has evolved into a premium retail and community-driven experience. Rooted in health, culture, and modern lifestyle, FIKA blends specialty coffee, matcha, functional beverages, curated food offerings, and thoughtfully selected retail products to create spaces where people can work, connect, create, and reset. As FIKA prepares to open its new Whittier location, we're looking for a Whittier College student to serve as an on-campus extension of the brand and help introduce FIKA to the local college community. Job Type Part-Time College Brand Ambassador $300 Monthly or $20.00 Per/Hr + $100 Monthly FIKA Store Credit + Event/Transportation Reimbursement About The Role FIKA College Brand Ambassadors are outgoing, creative, and community-oriented students who help build authentic relationships between FIKA and their campus. As our College Brand Ambassador, you'll work alongside the FIKA marketing team to increase brand awareness on campus, identify partnership opportunities, support activations, create social content, and connect FIKA with student organizations, clubs, athletics, Greek life, and other communities across campus. This is a hands-on opportunity for a student interested in marketing, events, social media, partnerships, and brand building to gain real-world experience while representing a growing lifestyle brand in their own community. Job Duties / Responsibilities Serve as an on-campus representative for FIKA at your college Help introduce FIKA and its Whittier location to students, organizations, clubs, athletics, Greek life, and other campus communities Attend and support select on-campus events, student activities, and FIKA brand activations Identify relevant campus events, organizations, partnerships, sponsorships, and sampling opportunities for FIKA Help coordinate product sampling, giveaways, promotions, and other grassroots marketing initiatives Distribute FIKA promotional materials, merchandise, offers, and products during approved activations Create authentic short-form UGC for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms on a weekly basis Capture photos and short-form video from campus events and FIKA activations Encourage student awareness and engagement around FIKA promotions, events, product launches, and the Whittier store Represent FIKA in provided branded merchandise during official events and activations Provide brief weekly recaps highlighting campus activity, student engagement, partnership opportunities, and content captured Track basic activation metrics such as students reached, samples or promotional items distributed, and participating organizations Share relevant campus trends, conversations, events, and cultural insights with the FIKA marketing team Collaborate with FIKA's Brand Manager, Social Media Marketing Intern, Influencer Marketing Intern, and creative team on select campaigns and initiatives Occasionally support larger FIKA-sponsored community events, run clubs, wellness activations, pop-ups, and local partnerships Help strengthen FIKA's relationship with the broader Whittier community through authentic student-to-student engagement Qualifications Must be currently enrolled at Whittier College, Biola College, or Rio Hondo Community College. Ideally pursuing a degree or minor in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media, Film, or a related field Actively involved in or connected to campus clubs, student organizations, athletics, intramural sports, Greek life, or other student communities Outgoing and comfortable meeting new people and representing a brand in person Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends Comfortable capturing casual photo and video content on a smartphone Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Reliable and able to follow through on weekly responsibilities and scheduled activations Interested in coffee, wellness, fitness, lifestyle, culture, events, and community building Access to a personal laptop and smartphone Previous experience with events, social media, student organizations, marketing, or content creation is a plus, but not required Company Perks $300 monthly stipend or $20.00 per hr. $100 monthly FIKA store credit Opportunity to receive college credit , where eligible Complimentary FIKA products during select activations and events Exclusive FIKA merchandise and ambassador gear Hands-on experience in grassroots marketing, social media, events, partnerships, and community building Direct collaboration with FIKA's marketing and creative teams Networking opportunities with creators, local businesses, community organizations, and brand partners Opportunities to participate in FIKA events, launches, shoots, and brand activations Potential pathway to future paid internships, part-time roles, or other opportunities with FIKA What Success Looks Like You're helping make FIKA a recognizable part of the Whittier community by building awareness of our Uptown Whittier location among local college students, connecting FIKA with campus organizations and potential partners, and bringing the marketing team new opportunities, content, feedback, and insights from campus.
