How to Get In
It’s Cal’s 1st birthday, and all month long the community’s celebrating with him. Four weekly challenges, one for every kind of person: design a card, take a quiz, answer a would-you-rather, write a postcard to your future self.
Every submission to our challenges is an entry toward a $100 giveaway split across the month. The most thoughtful responses — any week, doesn’t matter which — earn a direct invite to Challenge Champions.
This month’s questions look like this:
- Week 1 (Aug 3): Design a birthday card for Cal — no template, no rules.
- Week 2 (Aug 10): Take the Growth Reflection Quiz and share which type you got.
- Week 3 (Aug 17): Would You Rather — quick-fire, all Cal-themed picks.
- Week 4 (Aug 24): Write a postcard to your future self. This one doubles as your badge application.

Cal’s spent a year figuring out who he is by paying attention to who inspired him along the way. Now it’s your turn. Write 3-5 sentences, or draw a portrait with a caption. Whatever format you’re better at.
