Cal’s Birthday August Community Challenge Giveaway and Contest — Official Rules
Overview
The Cal’s Birthday August Community Challenge Giveaway and Contest offers four (4) prizes to eligible participants who complete the designated weekly activities by each respective deadline. By participating, you agree to these rules.
Winners will be selected as described below and notified within seven (7) business days of each drawing date via email.

General Rules
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.
By participating in this promotion, each participant represents and warrants that he or she meets the eligibility requirements detailed in these rules. Failure to meet all eligibility requirements may result in disqualification. Entry constitutes your acceptance of these rules. All entries become the property of Tallo and its affiliates (the “Sponsor”) and will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters.
This giveaway begins at 12:01 AM ET on August 3, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on August 31, 2026, with drawings taking place as described below.
Eligibility
Open to all residents of the United States who are age 13 or older. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent to participate. If a winner is below the age of majority in his or her state or jurisdiction, the winner’s parent or legal guardian may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and/or agree to these rules in writing on their behalf and on behalf of the minor child. Employees of Sponsor and its respective parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, retailers, distributors (collectively, “Contest Entities”), and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
Drawings and Entry Requirements
This giveaway consists of four (4) separate weekly drawings. Participants may enter one or more drawings independently. Only one entry per participant per drawing will be accepted.
Drawing 1 — Birthday Card for Cal (1 winner, selected by Sponsor)
Entry period: August 3, 2026 – August 21, 2026.
To enter: Complete all of the following requirements by 11:59 PM ET on August 21, 2026:
- Have a Tallo account.
- Submit an original birthday card design for Cal (any medium: drawing, collage, digital, etc.) via a community post during the entry period.
The winner of Drawing 1 will be selected by the Sponsor’s internal team based on creativity and effort. This drawing is not a random selection.
Drawing 2 — Growth Reflection Quiz (1 winner, random drawing)
Entry period: August 10, 2026 – August 17, 2026.
To enter: Complete all of the following requirements by 11:59 PM ET on August 17, 2026:
- Have a Tallo account.
- Complete the Growth Reflection quiz during the entry period.
- Reply to the designated community post with your quiz results or reflection during the entry period.
Drawing 3 — Would You Rather (1 winner, random drawing)
Entry period: August 17, 2026 – August 24, 2026.
To enter: Complete all of the following requirements by 11:59 PM ET on August 24, 2026:
- Have a Tallo account.
- Complete the Would You Rather community poll during the entry period.
- Reply to the designated community post with your poll response or reaction during the entry period.
Drawing 4 — Postcard to Your Future Self (1 winner, random drawing)
Entry period: August 24, 2026 – August 31, 2026.
To enter: Complete all of the following requirements by 11:59 PM ET on August 31, 2026:
Submit a postcard to your future self via the community post or form during the entry period.
Have a Tallo account.
Winning Entries
One (1) winner per drawing will be selected as follows:
Drawing 1 will be selected by the Sponsor’s internal team based on creativity and effort;
Drawings 2, 3, and 4 will each be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the respective entry period.
The Sponsor reserves the right (i) to reject any entry that does not meet the submission requirements; (ii) to not award a prize if, in its sole and absolute discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries; and (iii) to cancel any drawing if prevented from timely continuing with it as planned herein by any event beyond its control.
Prizes and Approximate Retail Values (ARV)
Drawing 1 — Birthday Card for Cal:
One (1) winner receives a $25 Amazon gift card (ARV: $25.00).
Drawing 2 — Growth Reflection Quiz:
One (1) winner receives a $25 Amazon gift card (ARV: $25.00).
Drawing 3 — Would You Rather:
One (1) winner receives a $25 Amazon gift card (ARV: $25.00).
Drawing 4 — Postcard to Your Future Self:
One (1) winner receives a $25 Amazon gift card (ARV: $25.00).
Total ARV of all prizes: $100.00.
Winner Notification
Winners will be notified via email no more than seven (7) business days after the applicable drawing date. Winners must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this period, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes must be claimed within sixty (60) days of winner notification. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No substitutions are permitted except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or portion of any prize with one of equal or greater value in case of unavailability.
Conditions of Entry
Winner acknowledges that the Sponsor and all other businesses concerned with this promotion and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, condition, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of any prize. By entering, participants agree that their submitted activity and engagement on Tallo may be used anonymously for educational and program improvement purposes in Tallo’s content and resources. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission for Sponsor and its agents to use each winner’s name, prize won, hometown, and likeness for purposes of advertising, trade, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. Entrants (i) agree to these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, on their behalf, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (“Releasing Parties”); (ii) release, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor as well as their employees, officers, directors and agents (“Released Parties”), from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against Released Parties which any one or more of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter may have which in any way arise out of or result from entrant’s participation, acceptance or use or misuse of any prize. Entrants assume all liability for any injury, including death or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize.
Governing Law and Arbitration
This promotion shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, U.S.A. without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. Entrants hereby agree that any and all disputes, claims, causes of action, or controversies (“Claims”) arising out of or in connection with this promotion shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration pursuant to this provision and the code of procedures of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) or JAMS, as selected by the entrant.
NEITHER PARTY HAS THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE A CLAIM IN COURT OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL ON A CLAIM. FURTHER, NEITHER SPONSOR NOR ENTRANT HAS THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR OTHER PERSONS SIMILARLY SITUATED, OR AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OF CLAIMANTS PERTAINING TO ANY CLAIM SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION. OTHER RIGHTS THAT ENTRANT WOULD HAVE IF ENTRANT WENT TO COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION.
The arbitrator’s authority to resolve Claims is limited to Claims between Sponsor and entrant alone, and the arbitrator’s authority to make awards is limited to awards to Sponsor and entrant alone. Furthermore, Claims brought by either party against the other may not be joined or consolidated in arbitration with Claims brought by or against any third party, unless agreed to in writing by all parties. No arbitration award or decision will have any preclusive effect as to issues or claims in any dispute with anyone who is not a named party to the arbitration.
Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of this promotion or in the announcement of any prize.
This promotion is void where prohibited by law.

The Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to an entrant’s or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this promotion or downloading and/or uploading materials from or use of the website.
