Tallo CEO Casey Welch joins 1,600 CEOs to Advance Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace

Casey Welch, the CEO and Co-founder of Tallo, has joined the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion coalition™, the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Casey joins nearly 1,600 other signatories from 85 industries in pledging to take action to cultivate a workplace where diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed and respected and where employees feel encouraged to discuss diversity and inclusion.

As a signatory, Casey is committing to:

  • Continuing to cultivate a workplace that supports open dialogue on complex, and sometimes difficult, conversations about diversity and inclusion;
  • Implementing and expanding unconscious bias education;
  • Sharing best known—and unsuccessful—actions; and
  • Creating and sharing strategic inclusion and diversity plans with Tallo’s board of directors.

Tallo is committed to leveling the playing field for all students and job seekers, and works to create a safe, efficient ecosystem for talent to connect with opportunities. Of our 1.3 million+ Tallo users, over 330,000 identify as Black/African American and Hispanic/Latinx. As Tallo’s leader, Casey is looking forward to learning how to enact more equitable and inclusive practices for Tallo’s diverse community of talent users and the companies, colleges, and organizations on the Tallo platform as well. Under Casey’s leadership, Tallo has formed an Equity and Justice Committee comprised of Tallo employees across various business areas. The goal of the Committee is to ensure that Tallo is working both internally and externally to create a more equitable, antiracist world.
